Ian joined Luke Jackson and myself last September in our double header gig in Thurnby Leicester and was kind enough to write a beautiful review of the evening saying;
“She performs with a warmth that is both disarming and inspirational. Her songs of life and the countryside feel traditional and she augments voice and guitar with very effective use of a loop pedal to add harmonies or extra instruments. It is a great feat of perfect timing”
After taking to time to talk with me about my musical journey and background, Ian went on to also write a really informative ‘Insight’ on my career which can be found in the same issue of R2 magazine.
If you would have liked to have been at that concert then there is still a chance! …Given it’s success, Luke and I have decided to return to thurnby in September and plan to re-live the evening including a sing song around the camp fire at the end of the evening. You can find details here…
