It's very hard to even begin to put this last month into the words of a blog. It's been one of the most incredible, intense, immense, important, interesting and impractical months of my entire life.
This month has presented the opportunity to spend a collaborative weekend with the BBC Introducing team and five very talented artists at Halsway Manor recording a Points West TV Documentary for BBC1 and a Radio Show for BBC Somerset.
It's found my new album 'The Lament of The Black Sheep' on the playlist for the Mike Harding Folk Show, and also the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe as well as numerous other BBC, local, national and international radio stations and podcasts (http://www.angehardy.com/news/2014/08/14/bbc-radio-2-and-august-airplay).
Finally, this month the reviews have started to pour in thick and fast and to my utter delight one of them was a five star review from The Telegraph who then proceeded to put it right at the top of their “Best Folk Albums of 2014” list - after the lovely Cara Dillon that is... as it should be!
In short? It's been one heck of a month :-)
